Art for Toddler, 4-6years
Young children like to draw what they feel and know but not what they see. In their art process they need the knowledge that is based on their own experiences. They need more concrete examples when they do art. All children know how to draw and each of them have to trust their own imagination. That is why these art lessons are based on more imagination and learning by doing experiences. Come enjoy this group as your toddler explores a variety of art materials such as pencil, crayon, pastels, charcoal, paint, clay, collage and more. The goal is to encourage creativity and have fun in the process.
Printmaking I
The tactile skills are developed by working with tools, glues, inks and rollers. An excellent way to introduce the concept of the print is to make mono types or mono prints. Different techniques will be explored; objects prints, cardboard, paper prints, Styrofoam prints, collage prints, glue prints and stamped prints.
Watercolor I

Theoretically, all other colors are derived from these three. Next come the three secondary hues – orange, violet and green – born on primary parents. Practicing color mixing, brush strokes, relationship between color and water. Wet on wet and wet on dry techniques. How to take care of your painting tools. If we have time we could use some sand, salt and soap to create different textures on paper.
